Fudgesicles???

Fudgesicles should be okay once you get to the creamy soups phase. After all they do disolve in your mouth before you swallow. Just make sure it is the low fat kind!

Dr. M said I could have them after I got home. She also said not to worry about getting "diet" ones cause we're very limited anyways on the liquid diet.[i won't eat or drink anything with artificial sweetners in it.] I found that warm or hot stuff worked better post op though, I didn't eat too many fudgesicles. Good luck!! ><' Darlene

Did anyone incorporate fudgesicles into their post op diet? If so, when?? Thanks

Hi Kimra!! I would double check with Dr. Miranda, but this is what I did: I had regular popsicles until the creamy soup stage. Then, when the creamy soup stage arrived, as a treat and some variety, I added fudgesicles and creamsicles. I just let the sicle dissolve in my mouth prior to swallowing. Too many are probably not too good for you, but my husband got into my stash, so I did not even get a chance to over indulge.

Enjoy,

Lisa

Darlene... Dr. M said Fudgesicles when you got home or popsicles?? Or both?

She said fudgesicles and popsiciles. They melt to liquid anyways, they're not thick like soup. I didn't bite chunks off of them, I just sucked on them till gone. :) Like I said though, I didn't eat many, cold didn't agree with me.

Once I was allowed creamy soups and protein shakes, I got these absolutely delicious Healthy Choice fudgesicles from Costco. They even had protein in them and were very good and healthy. That was the best treat and very satisfying for mental hunger without the guilt. ;)

Peace,

Judy
