Do you have a pouch before your fills?

Isnt the band just hanging around the stomach.......Do you actually have a pouch to start?

from the pictures that I'v seen on banding, looks like they make the pouch from from banding the upper most part of the stomach from the larger lower part. Barb

I do believe we have the pouch, but with the band not having any fill, everything you eat will go right through the band into your larger stomach. That's why you have to be careful until you get your first fill. Try to keep eating small portions, and chew really well.
