klyn13jwl
Can someone, please, explain to me what slime or PB means? I've read it in a couple of your posts. Fill me in, K? Thanks.
Kittycat
PB means productive burp...when you eat too fast or something your stomach/band cannot handle...it comes back up. Sliming occurs for the same reason in conjunction with PBing. It's your body's way of telling you that you are doing something it doesn't like or that your restriction is very tight. The other more experienced bandsters can elaborate for you too! Cathy
Will T
She's right on with what she says. When you slime, saliva builds in your mouth and you feel like you're going to throw up any second, until the burp comes, and the pressure is relieved. The slime is the build-up of the saliva. Sometimes when you PB, you do throw up a small amount, sometimes you just feel like you're going to until the burps come. Eating too fast causes them. Eating large bites that arent WELL chewed causes them. Some foods cause them.
