erin2796
Did anyone out there not lose the required weight loss prior to surgery? I start my pre op diet on the 9th and am worried about not losing my 10 pounds because I waited till the last minute to start...Not the best idea but I was trying to get all my favorites in! LOL! shrty835
I was told to lose 15 i've only lost 10. My surgery is Tuesday, keeping my fingers crossed that they wont cancel me.
YorkieMommy
Just stick to the plan and see what happens. It makes the surgery easier if you lose the weight. I only lost about half of the weight and I didn't get cancelled. I think it also depends on your EKG and blood test results. They just need you as healthy as possible, so keep it up! C1BandedBabe
Erin I am feeling the same that you are! I was told that I didn't have to do the pre op diet when I first signed up for the surgery but of course I was 198 then... WELLLLLL of course I went and gained weight (now 203) and I am STRESSSSING now about getting back now to the 198 before my surgery... I know it may not sound like alot of weight that I gained but it is hard to get off though! I have 2 weeks until my surgery so I HOPE and PRAY I have enough of willpower to lose this weight I put on before the surgery! Good luck Erin and I am sure you we can lose this weight!
