C1BandedBabe
How many grams of protein do we need a day?? I found a really good protein drink that I really like its Isopure and its Apple melon and it has no carbs and 40g of protein for 20 oz. only 160 calories too.. Its really good and was wondering if that is all the protein I really need in a day..
mona-camille
In reality, it is a percent of your weight. But, I forget what that is. I think for most people 60 grams is like the minimum.
momonamission
Here is a simple way. I had to look it back up to make sure I had it right. Take your weight and divide it by half and subtract 10. GOOD LUCK!!!DAWN
C1BandedBabe
Soo Dawn if I weigh 201 this morning I would take 201/2=100.5-10=90.5....... SO I should be having 90 grams of protein a day, am I right?

C1BandedBabe
Its very expensive... I paid like 4.69 for a 20 ounce bottle from GNC yesterday.. the big bottle of it is like 68 dollars..
Dontondan
That is pretty expensive. I will just stick to my $14 whey protein at 27 grams a scoop....comes in a huge bucket! I just mix it with some yogurt (Vanilla flavored powder, fruit flavored yogurt) and it tastes like cheesecake (I am good at using my imagination!) Dontondan, you mix one scoop in a regular-size cup of yogurt? And you can't taste the protein powder, right? - That sounds like something I could handle. What kind of protein powder do you use - brand?

Kimra
Bump just means that if you want a topic to be read again or added to, then you bump it and it puts it back up to the top of the forum as unread.
