One more question :)

How long did it take for this glue to come off of your incisions??? Mine is starting to flake off of the big incision and I don't want to catch it on my clothes and rip it off but I don't want to take it off myself either...I can't wait for it to come off though.

My glue came off after about a week, some of them took about 2 weeks, but it started peeling prior to that. If you are worried about it catching on clothing you can put a small bandaid on it for a few more days.

Mine flaked for a long time, but at exactly 3 weeks was when I had no glue left.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW what that really means is that you didn't take a bath to very often during that time!!!!!

HAHAHAHA Just teasing!! And I can because mine took 3 weeks to come off too!!!

I clipped mine off with nail clippers when it was lifting off. I didn't pick or pull at it [i'm not a scab picker either] but when it was lifted away from my skin I'd clip it so it wouldn't catch on my clothes. Mine took about 3 weeks total to come completely off. :)

HI Angela: My glue is soooo gross and I am trying not to pick at it. It's like little balls of buggers on my belly......gross!! I saw your post and thought about you and your great parents. I'm doing great and have lost 10 pounds in the week since we were banded on 6/4/08. Today I was sort of reliving that day and I thank you and your family for the support. I am sorry we didn't meet up after we were back at the hotel but I was feeling so good I went back that night and then changed my plane ticket to go back 1 day earlier, actually the next day after surgery. Tell your mom and dad hello and I hope your dad espec ially is hanging in there. Ask him if he got his V and V and he'll laugh!!!!Take care and hope to hear from you

Julie

One of the small ones came off in a week, but the glue also on my large incision started coming off. I think it took longer to heal because it came off to soon.

I'm with Kimra, took about three weeks. I was frustrated too because it seems to pick up any little bit of dust and looks like you haven't bathed in ages. Not to worry it will eventually go away. I finally rubbed gently with a towel after a shower to get the last of it off.
