lock27 Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Dr. miranda tell us to eat protein first, then veggies, then starches. My question is, do you finish eating all the protein before you move on to veggies, or do you mix them. Even though i had my second fill, i still dont have restriction, so i was wondering about the eating order so maybe i get fuller faster. Thanks
nothereanymore Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Protein is what gets you really feeling full, don't mix - eat protein first! Followed by the rest in line as to what you have noted.
Allcdngirl Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 And I find really paying attention to how full I am getting the key to my weight loss so far. As soon as I start feeling a little bit full, I put down my fork, and give it a few minutes. 90% of the time, I'm done. Good Luck.
Willi333 Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Does anyone have a suggestion what to eat instead of chicken, fish etc. in order for us to get enough "solid" protein ? Since I can't mix the meat with the veggies & chew forever, the meat just doesn't taste as good and I catch myself not wanting to eat meat at all ... and then I somtimes go for the veggies ...

Kittycat Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Chicken and fish are always good choices, there is also turkey, ground turkey and chicken to make a homemade burger. Get yourself a WLS cookbook, if you haven't already, the recipes are great! take care Cathy
