I was wondering if anyone has had roast beef when able to eat solids? I love homemade roast beef. I put it in the crock pot with water and onion soup mix and it falls apart. Ok, enough, my mouth is watering, just thinking about it and I can't have solids for a month.

If you cut it up small and chew like crazy is it okay?

Thanks Cathy

Lordee, you made me starving!

Cooked like you have described it, it should be no problem.

I've had it with no problems. I make mine in the oven with the onion soup mix..... makes awesome gravy. I haven't had it since my fill though.....

Thanks ladies!

I put in the crock so that the fat drains into the water, I pull out the roast and disgard the drippings, no gravy for me, then or now!

Sorry to make your mouth water....Paula Bee

Holy smokes, Cathy! You're in Kitchener? My sis is in Cambridge! Small world. I was just there a couple of months ago. Damn, missed the beef! hehe

Awe, man! I looked up airfare and it'd be a $1200 flight. Maybe you can send a picture. :girl_haha:

Really? That's amazing, my husband works in Cambridge. It's like 10 minutes away from us. Well I expect a call the next time you are here for a visit!

And hopefully it won't be too long, but if it is...we will be thinner and hotter than now!!

Oh I will make you the best roast beef dinner you've ever had, band style!! LOL!!

And you are in Calgary, Alberta...it is a small world, I love it there, travel on business there every two years or so. I hoping for another meeting out there in September? And will definitely let you know.

That's so cool!

Hi cathy

We eat roast beef all the time. My husband is a true carnavore.

I eat small bites and chew like mad. No problems.

Well, I'm a lousy cook -- hence the weight but I'm really trying to learn how in anticipation of the future. How about dinner at Smugglers on me? It's not home cooked roast beef but it is awesome! Next time I'm in the area I'll drop ya a warning! hehe.

I am counting on it!!!

Have a great weekend! Cathy
