Guest marys
Hi Sally, Tell us your fears so we can be more specific with our encouragement - but try not to worry - you are in good hands with dr. Ortiz. Also, try not to go crazy with food (I know easier said than done BUT if you stick to the bandster way of eating - once you are rebanded - things will be easier for you. Take care and good luck, mary hi, i talked with dr. ortiz today and he said that i need to wait for 6 months to be rebanded. he said with a slip, 99% develope hernias which need to be repaired also. so i had my band removed aug. 1st and i will not have a band for 6 months. yikes i am really frightened. sally

mgewton
Sally I know how you feel. I had to have my band removed in April I had only had it for 8 months. Thank God I got another loan to have another one put back on. I am going to try and go next month, but if they don't have any space left I do have an appointment already for November 16th. I just don't want to wait any longer. Hang in don't give up and if you plan on getting another band just let that keep you going. Melissa

wheeler
I am from Australia and had a slipped band replaced straight away, and I do know quite a few ppl whose band was replaced straight away meaning one operation, old one out the new in. Can't understand why you would need to wait.
