I'm just guessing here because i haven't had a fill yet.I do have restriction though & have some symptoms like you.I found that eating super SLOW..I mean taking 30-45 minutes to eat helps.

Take a couple of bites & let it settle.I ate crab legs one night & felt like my chest was gonna explode after just a few bites.

Hello there! Im totally with you. I have very inconsistant restriction. First of all I can never eat anything solid before 2 pm. Then sometimes in the evening I can eat and eat and eat and sometimes I vomit after just 2 bites. We went out to eat the other night at 6:30. I ordered a salad and ate 2 bites then immediatly had to go to the bathroom and I pb'd 4 times. I tried to eat again and chewed and chewed and chewed but again I pb'd. Its was aweful. But tonight we went out to eat and I was able to eat my whole meal though I only ordered an appetizer so it wasnt a huge amount. I am also still having a hard time with meat before dinner time and Im finding it very hard to get my protein in. Sadly I have no problems with cookeys or chips and I really have to stop myself from eathing them. Its frustrating because I typically would try to eat less in the evenings but its really the only time I can get anything down. I will say that it still comes down to making good food choices but its difficult when Im not always able to get the good for me food down.

Have you noticed yourself getting stuck with any type of food? Breads and pasta seem to give people problems the most, but salad can certainly be an issue. Try eating things which break down easily and chew to goo. If you start throwing up regularly, your stomach can be irritated and swollen, which make eating harder. Try going on liquids for a few days to let things calm down. If neither of these things work, or you have difficulty getting even liquids down, it may be time for an unfill.

WOW.. I too feel like I cannot eat b/4 2-5pm.. then I feel like I need to eat eat eat because that's when I can get most of my nutrients in.... I rarely am able to eat b/4 2-4pm and it's only soup, protein shake, maybe yogurt and if I'm lucky a hard boiled egg mashed up with a smidge of mayo.... but come evening time sometimes I'm able to pig the crap out and eat like 2 turkey burger patties *never never can I eat bread* and other times even in the evening I am praying to the porcelin god after 2 bites.. I wish wish wish I had more restriction in the evening.. i am totally fighting with myself to make good food choices in the evneing/nights i can eat. :(

I could have written that myself! I feel the exact same way. I have no idea what the deal is.

I was reading yesterday that fills are based on evening consumption not daily consumption. It seems to be common that day time, particularly mornings, are tough to eat through. One of the tips was to bump breaky to lunch, lunch to dinner, dinner to around seven or no later than two hours before bed. They did say there was a period of adjustment on new fills? I can't say with authority because I haven't had one yet.
