Willi333
I had my second fill yesterday and got 1.3 cc's on top of my already excisting 1.9cc. Here comes the question .... What if the max. volume of my band (4cc) would actually not be enough to get to my goal/sweet spot/restriction ???? I think with this fill I'm reeeaaally good for a while, but the thought came up, realizing I'm already at 3.2cc's Is this question stupid?
C1BandedBabe
Thats not a stupid question at all, I have often wondered that myself.... Thanks for asking!
cindyterry
Good question. I had my 3rd fill on 6/21/08 and I have a 4cc band and I now have 4cc's in my band. The barium still flowed through a little faster than Darlene @ Fill Center Roswell wanted it to, but she said to go with that for now and you can always come in later to see if 4cc's are still in there. Sometimes a little disappears. So who knows.... I feel really good at this level and I have about 40 more pounds to go. Good luck and hopefully you won't have to get to the point where your band is full.
fat2nrml
NEVER a stupid question..... actually, that's a great question.... never thought about that!! How many people on the forum have 4cc in their bands? How's your restriction???
Blazn
I heard at one time that a 4cc band could actually be filled to 5cc. Has anyone else heard this? Although it is kinda scarry to think about overfilling your band if you think about breast implants it make a little more sense. When women have implants they may have a 360cc implant filled with 450cc of saline. This happens everyday! Anyway, I just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone else had heard this. I haven't had a fill yet and I am no authority but according to EVERY book I've read (I think I'm up to six now) some air gets trapped in there and the difference in cc's between then and your next visit is usually attributible to the air dissipating. I think I asked Dr. Romero this question when I was banded. He said it is possible to fill a 4cc band up to 5 cc's. So don't worry Ute, you have plenty of space for more fill. How is your restriction now? You probably will only need little tweeks from now on.
Willi333
Thank you girls for sharing the great information !!! Evette ... YOU LOOK HOTTTTT Hi Lynzz Thanks for the info !!! It is good to know that there is a little bit more room as only 0.8cc - just in case! I had to name my 2nd fill the "killer filler" I don't get away with having to big of a bite anymore or not chewing enough (Well, I never did that intentionally, but sometimes one is just not focused enough ...) I only started solids today for lunch and it was still a bit on the mushy side to taste the situation - and I have a veeeery good restriction. I need to sip the water, have to eat really slowly and chew the living daylight out of it and the portions are really small. I hope it stays this way, because .... once again after getting home from the fill ... Aunt Flo showed up over one week early totally by surprise Hope this is getting back to normal sometime in the near future I think I asked Dr. Romero this question when I was banded. He said it is possible to fill a 4cc band up to 5 cc's. So don't worry Ute, you have plenty of space for more fill. How is your restriction now? You probably will only need little tweeks from now on.
