in need of advice :-/

Recommended Posts

ok so i have another question but i kinda have to tell u the story first.

Well last saturday i went to a party and got a little too tipsy and kinda fell and pulled some tendons in my foot. well i went to urgent care yesterday(tuesday) and they had to take my blood pressure, oh joy...(dont u love my sarcasm?) well i guess it was that bad my mom was freaking out and since i told her about the band she told me she was calling my doctor sometime soon to see if i can get it.

but the question is, can i get it done even with this injury because it takes up to 6 weeks to heal maybe because its more like a home care thing and has to heal on its own. c

Don't make anymore excuses!!.Just do it.

Make up your mind to lose the weight. The sooner the better.

Once you set your mind to it,it will all start getting better.

It's an easy 30 minute surgery & i promise your pulled tendon hurts 100x worse than getting banded.

I did the same as you, making excuses for a long time.

I feel so much better mentally now that I KNOW i will be skinny again!

Sorry to hear about your injury - that stinks!

I don't know if that would affect whether you could do surgery - the first thing that crosses my mind is how important walking a lot has been for helping to move the gas along. But maybe if you can walk with crutches that would still work...

If your mom is already looking into local doctors, I'm sure they can answer that for you. My guess is that if you do this in the states it will take a while to go through all the steps and get the surgery - long after your foot is healed. Obviously we're biased here and big fans of the OCC and Drs. Ortiz and Martinez - I would definitely recommend contacting someone there to find out what they can do for you. In case you don't know, you can click the OCC logo on the upper left to get to a contacts page.

Whatever you decide to do I wish you good luck!

Susan
