Kittycat Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 I have been experiencing weird stitches under my ribcage on both left and right sides. I haven't had stitches in my side since running track in high school!LOL!! Does anyone experience these? Cathy
fat2nrml Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Not sure what you mean by stitches? I had an odd feeling for awhile after being banded, it felt like something was "catching" under my left rib when I'd bend over or slouch real bad. Almost felt like something was in the way...
Kittycat Posted July 7, 2008 Author Report Posted July 7, 2008 Yeh sort of...it's like a lingering pain, that hurts when you breathe. Could it be gas? Cathy
fat2nrml Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 I'm not sure, I always thought that is was from swelling and it did go away after a few weeks. Not really pain, just a pressure or pushing feeling. I've never got it again and I was just jumping around in the pool with our daughter playing ball. I was paying attention to see if I got any discomfort in my stomach area and I did not.
Alana Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Yes..I get those every once in a while. They always surprise me, I never know what brings them on.
yoyodieter Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Hi Cathy, I know exactly what your talking about. I think its gas but not 100% sure, I got them on both sides when I was riding my bike yesterday, right after I drank a lemonade with a straw (whoops) I thought I was going to have to get off and walk my bike, It took a little awhile then it stopped. It happened before as well. And thanks for all the posts, I love reading them!!!!

You are so welcome, I love it here, everyone is so wonderful!! Cathy
fat2nrml Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 I know I still get the pain in my shoulder and collar bone area at times when I drink or eat very cold stuff. I'll have to pay mind if it hits me in my rib area....
