Hi, everyone - I'm don't post often, but read the posts a lot .

just wanted to share that I have found a great dentist in TJ if anyone needs care. Zoom whitening is only $250. My recent root canal and beautiful crown were done overnight for $450 TOTAL - and less if it is not a back molar as mine was. All prices are about 1/3 or 1/4 US friggin prices. My dentist locally wanted $2400 for the root canal and crown - and 3 weeks.

I also had him remove all those old dangerous mercury-leaching metal fillings and replace with white ones that look like there's no filling at all. Even if flying in, you can save thousands like i did.

sorry, i don't check i here very often, and just got your message.

Yes, they pick up from the airport and take you back - no charge - and the driver, Juan, is delightful ! perfect english and fun.

Dr. Sergio also has BIG discounts at a beautiful hotel a block from the office, if you don't want to stay at the Grande. i liked being able to walk back to my room easily for a rest, between my mornng and afternoon dental sessions.

there is also a wonderful authentic MX rstaurant right between the office and th hotel - it's the big yellow building - ate there lunch and dinner for 3 days in a row (and gained 2# so be careful!)

I know you'll love them all, and they can also get you in quickly, since he works 6 days a week and long hours. (too long, i told him! )

I'm a health care person too (went back to nuring when the ^%^&* real estate market crashed down here!) and am VERY picky - and this guy is truly excellent.

I got a crown from Dr Orvieta in the OCC clinic, and was very happy with her work. My husband has had four implants done by the specialist in the OCC dental clinic, and is also very happy with the results. I also had a zoom whitening there and a cleaning.

I also found a good dentist dentist in Mexico. Actually my husband found it because he needed a lot of work done and while I was getting the lapband he had his teeth fixed. I just come from Mexico and I too had some work done. It is very very close to the OCC about 3 or 4 builing down. They do not do teeth whiting but they do all other procedures. I had 3 crowns, one cavity and a moler extraction and a deep cleaning and they took out all of the grey filling and put white filling for 1080.00. You can see all of their pricing on line and they pay for your taxi to them and they will get a you a taxi to take you back to the boarder. looks like a nice place, but more expensive...

doesn't mention any guarantee -- my "Dr Sergio's" guarantee for all work is 5 yrs or longer.

His english is near-perfect, and he also sends his own trusted driver and own Patient Van to pick you up at the airport for free, and take you back too.

I had a very bad experience with TJ cabs, so never use them any longer.

but there are lots of good dentists in TJ, for sure.

I saw Dr. Sergio for a quote on veneers. 1200/tooth in the USA, 500 at the OCC, 360 at Dr. Sergio. His office wasn't as fancy but he really spoke of esthetics in making vaneers. He called me in Connecticut and spoke to me at home for about 30 minutes, answered all of my questions. Then I went to his office when I was getting my first fill. He gave me a written quote with exactly what he was going to do and how much it would cost. I later decided not to have vaneers (I am going for braces), but I was impressed.

Marisol, the dentist at the OCC is young and does not speak english as well, although I like her a great deal. I like my dentist with a little more experience. and I don't like that she works for Dr. Ortiz rather than being on her own.

Anyway, wanted you to know that I met Dr. Sergio also.
