banded4life
Hello Y'all! Does anyone have any good sugesstions for breakfast when you are on the clear liquid diet? Thanks!
denisem
It was hard to distinquish between meals at that stage, for me anyway. Everything kind of was the same for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I just alternated chicken broth with beef broth, and ate my jello and sipped apple juice, with each meal. As the day progressed, I would add in a popsicle. At least it only lasted one week...it was the most boring phase of all! Good luck!
nothereanymore
I always needed a kick of protein so I had protein water, (the high dose you buy at GNC - not the packs) and took my liquid vitamins.
Kittycat
I am with Denisem...I just took in broth, jello, popcicles and water all day long. Take in as much as you can, there is very little calories in clear liquids and keep hydrated. Cathy
KboneSRU
Im a girl that used to have a diet mt dew in the morning and at lunch. So now that we cant have soda...I found that 1/2 cup of applejuice mixed with 1/2 cup of water really worked for me!!! It kind of gave me the sugar i needed to focus at work!! julieburns
I agree this is a very boring phase. I liked jello for breakfast and some juice, usually mixed with water. I love grapefruit juice so I'd have it.
simego
In the second week, when we can have "creamy" liquids, can I have a protein shake?
