my_friend_amber
So my first fill is (finally!) coming up next week and I'm getting nervous because I cannot feel my port at all. I'm still a fattie for sure - is this normal!? Will the doc be able to find it if I can't?
Kim2BSlim
Not everyone can feel their port. Yes, your Dr. will find it, don't worry!
julieburns
I couldn't really feel my port either before my 1st fill. I had my fill with fluoro so it was no problem. I am sure the experienced docs who don't use fluoro can find them easily. It is what they do.
Kittycat
That's okay, I can't feel mine either...at my last check up my surgeon asked me to lay flat and then lift my head and he felt it...try that, you may have some luck. If you still can't don't worry about it...surgeons can.
MamaMichelle
Are you getting your first fill back at the OCC or somewhere else?
GirlBarb
the fill doctors know how to position you and get your stomach musles to pop and push up the port
YorkieMommy
At my last fill they had me lay flat. Then lift my legs and head at the same time and that flexes the abs to make the port closer to the surface. If I put my hand just under the biggest incision I can feel it go up and down as I lift my head and legs. Sounds silly, but is interesting. haha
