mona-camille Posted July 26, 2008 Report Share Posted July 26, 2008 The tubing from the band to the port coiled up on itself and entwined around and stuck to the omentum tissue (around her stomach) but they were able to fix it while keeping the lap band in. So, she is fine and may even get to come home tonight. The Doctor said this was highly unusual and not at all common, so no need for anyone to worry about that as a complication. She did have to get several more little incisions though but thats ok. On the bright side, we can play connect the dots on her stomach now! HAHAHHAHAHA THanks for the prayers all!!
