life changing decision

I don't post alot, but I do check out the forum on a daily basis. I want to let every one know that my decision to have the lap band has totally changed my life. I feel so much in control. I don't feel like i'm losing the "fat" battle anymore! Every morning is a brand new day for me. And it is such an amazing feeling.

I've lost a total of 24 lbs. since my surgery in June. I haven't lost any in about a month. But people who know me are amazed at my transformation. Most of my freinds and family don't know that I had the surgery. I am not ready to tell them yet. One of my family members who hadn't seen me in about two years asked me if I had gastric bypass done!

Nice to hear from you and go happy that you are doing well and loving your life with the band.

When in June did you have your surgery? I had mine here in Canada on June 10th.

I was banded at the OCC on June 6. I had a great experience, and met a lot of wonderful people! I hope you have a nice weekend too!

Well congratulations!!! Glad you feel so much better. And don't worry, once you start getting fills, you will continue to lose the weight.
