gettingthere Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Hi....just a question about band size. I was banded by Dr. Ortiz in March. On my little card it says I have a 10 cm band. Does this mean my band also holds 10 cc's or do the 10 cm bands just hold 4cc's? Any help would be appreciated!
Kittycat Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 That's a good question...my surgeon referred to the size of my band in cc's...I have a 9cc band, which holds 9cc of fluid. It's the smallest band he works with. The other is a 12cc. I was banded in Canada.
