I can't do this..........

This is NOT the time to count calories, it's time to heal. Have as many and as much as you want of the full liquids. As long as you are following the rules about what full liquids is, like no chunks etc. than go for it. There's plenty of time to count calories down the road.

So glad you are better today, so am I. I've got a refreshed attitude and am ready to conquer the day!

Yes you CAN DO THIS!! See what a difference one day makes sometimes?

Ok see i knew I was confused. I sent my husband to walmart, its makes him feel important! LOL So here is the other question, since my emotions are not playing nice I want to take some meds, what is the best way to take a capsule?? Open it and put it in my yogurt??

Is that chunky, I bought the cans and have been straining them

According to Dr. Miranda, yogurt is considered a liquid and can be eaten any time of day. It is perfect for taking pills with. I just drop mine in one at a time, then spoon them up and swallow. It is so much easier than water.

Wendy's chili.... just sip the broth from it. It's wonderful. If you feel like it, try a little of the substance. It's been cooking in the broth for hours, so it will fall into pieces with little effort. GO SLOWLY. If the meat and/or the veggies seem to cause pain, sip the broth from the spoon. Get as much broth from it as you can.

If your band slips, you would know it. Your pain would be immense and continual.

And... YES YOU CAN DO THIS.

Glad to see you are back on track...I have been off line for a few days and missed so much! We all have bad days and the extra stress is a killer, but hang in there, we care about you and want you to suceed in this. Thankfully the liquid phase isn't that long, and will be over before you know it. I stayed away from restaurants for that reason...it was too difficult for me to say no. My band was before the Christmas party season so it was really hard, but I only went to parties where they had something that I could have or I took my own (soup at hand) which was convenient and I like the taste. If it was too tempting a place I skipped the party or just went, made an appearance and left....my friends all understood the situation and if they didn't, they weren't a friend that cared enough about me to matter!

As I am writing this I am sitting in my living room crying, I don't think ia can do this. I am 10 days post op and can't take it anymore. We went to applebees for dinner I got spaghetti ( I know I am not supposed to eat) I had about 3 noodles and a shrimp. i feel like sh*t I have pain in my chest 9under the left side of my rib cage) and feel like I want to throw up. I guess i feel this way because I get no support here all my husband does is b*tch he never has anythign nice to say. Honestly I cna't stand the sound of his voice right now but then I am pissy becasue he spends no time with us. I really don't know what to do, I know I will ruin my band and have been trying to behave but something keeps telling me that I will fail at this too so why not just give up.

BTW how do you know if your band slips?

Don't beat yourself up. We all make mistakes. You did it and it's done and in the past. Today is a new day and just try again to be better. I also didn't make it three weeks on liquids and was beating myself up till I read your post and realized that the advice I am giving you applies to me, too. Why is it always easier to forgive others their mistakes than ourselves? Helping you is helping me...tomorrow is a new start for both of us. I also called and made an appointment for a fill since my old appetite has returned in full force. Hopefully 8/29 will be my fill day and until then I will work on my willpower.

There are so many good people on the forum who will help you get back on track. Just remember to err is human and to forgive is divine. Forgive yourself and just think how great you will look and feel if you just hang in there.
