boogie
sometimes you can get heartburn/reflux and food might occasionally want to come up when you're laying down at night. other symptoms are vomiting (spitting food up). you will be able to eat more than normal and also not loosing or actually gaining weight . the definitive diagnostic testing to confirm a slip is endoscopy or sometimes doctors can do a barium swallow (x-ray to actually watch the barium pass through your pouch) to see a slip. at our centers, we would take all the fluid out of the band and put the patient on a few days of liquid and few days of soft food diet and return to the clinic for another barium swallow. If you follow the doctor's order, usually the slip will resolve itself. Hope that will never happen to you.
