I am seriously looking into traveling to get lap band surgery. Can you please share your experiences with me? Costs, travel times etc.....

From all that I have seen it seems that I need to find a money tree with about 10,000 on it. Not sure how I am going to do this yet. Might have to sweet talk dh into another loan.

Yep that seems about right if you are self pay and going to mexico or outside the U.s. you should definitely plan for surgery costs plus the costs of at least 5-6 fills (300-1000 each) depending on who is going to do oyour fills. fills are the key to success - some need none, some need many so you never know but if you don't have the right fill level the surgery is no good.
