Anyone reading this if you have not responded to the RSVP post and voted for a time please do. It gives us a head count for the restaurant. Thanks 2 weeks and counting down....... Julie, I will have to give it through this weekend before I RSVP. I have not heard from Lisal yet, if she is driving down. I am wanting to just hop on the train, but still in decision mode. I promise I will know by next week for sure!
yoyodieter
Hey all, I booked my room on hotwire.com I ended up at the Raddison airport. (I was on a budget so I had to go with the cheapest) Not sure how far from the refectory, but I'm sure it's just a short cab ride away.. I will drive to Stormys sisters, so if anyone wants to stay in my room you are welcome to. Or if you want to book your own, you will know where I am. Or maybe we can meet at the hotel and carpool. Anyway see you all on the 8th.

stormy
From the Portland Airport this is the way you go. Directions from A to B: 1: Start out going SOUTHWEST. .03 mi 2: Turn LEFT. 0.1 mi 3: Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto NE AIRPORT WAY. 1.9 mi 4: Merge onto I-205 S/VETERANS MEMORIAL HWY toward I-84/PORTLAND/SALEM. 12.2 mi 5: Take the OR-212 E/OR-224 E exit, EXIT 12A, toward CLACKAMAS/ESTACADA. 0.3 mi 6: Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto OR-212/OR-224/CLACKAMAS HWY. 0.7 mi 7: End at 10287 SE Highway 212 Clackamas, OR 97015-9171 Estimated Time: 22 minutes Estimated Distance: 15.52 miles In otherwords, get on to 205 south and take exit #12A, take light right (well it kinda makes you do that) go to third light and turn at that light, it is right there on the corner of the 3rd light. Kinda a hole in the wall looking place but fun and cute. At least this is how I get there. Does this all make sence?
stormy
My sister is thinking about putting out a buffett and a salad bar. How does everyone feel about that. She would have several options of what everyone could have. She will put together a menu and then we can chose what we want from 5 to 6 difference entrees. How does that sound? She wants to know how you all feel about that, cause then you could decide what portion you would want. She doesnt want people to feel pressured to eat alot or spend alot on food they wont eat. She would think about $7.50 for each person. She will give discount on soda or ice tea. If you dont like the idea, let me know but we thought this would be fun to put together and then you would have the control of how much you eat. Let me know what you think. Maybe I will post a poll. I am not sure how to do that, let me try
Guest CaraMBA09
Portland Cocktails for all my Gal Pals! Sex and the City: 2 oz. Stolichnaya Vodka 1/2 oz. X Rated Passion Fruit Liquor - This is FABULOUS! 3/4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice 3/4 oz. Cane Sugar Simple Syrup - Easy to make: 1 cup water to 1 cup sugar and simmer till dissolved (I keep this in a small juice container in the fridge for Mojitos, etc) Shaken, serve straight up in a martini glass rimmed in hot pink sugar (if you are feeling sassy) garnished with a lime wedge. Dontondan
I haven't been on in a few days and just wanted to let you all know that I am coming down for the get-together. Does anyone want to ride with me? I plan on leaving Saturday morning and will be staying the night---will try to get in the Radisson also if I can. I will need to be back up to Bremerton by Sunday dinnertime! I can't wait! The buffet sounds wonderful, either way it will be a lot of fun. I will be driving, so if I stay at the Radisson you can get a ride with me. I would love the company. Donna

Ride the train with Lisal and I, email me and I will give you all the info. Yoyo is picking us up at the train station and dropping us off to head home sunday. Dont drive, our tickets only cost us $50.00 with tax! No gas, no traffic, no stress: priceless!
Dontondan
I really like the drive down and I would have to drive over an hour to catch the train anyways.....I have a hybrid car that takes very little gas, so I can get down there under $20.00. I made my reservations on hotwire and got a room at the Sheraton by the airport. Besides, I like to stop and shop when I want to....Centralia is on the way home. Thanks anyway!
