sphynxmomma
The last few days I will get this pain under my right rib then all of a sudden I start belching continuously for like 10 minutes then it goes away, I'm assuming the pain is gas pressure????I think. I happens when I first get up in the morning or about 1 hour after I eat. This is new to me....is this typical????...sooo odd
nothereanymore
OK, I hate it when its something new, but my guess is its gass - just not 100% sure. Do you let your pouch empty before going to bed, and since it happens after you eat and when you wake up the only thing I can guess it can be is gass due to the food. Sorry - I'm sure someone else will help as well. But here's what I'd try - stop eating 2 hours before bedtime and drink some warm herb tea *sleepy time is good, about 30 minutes before sleep. Also try eating smaller amounts, you may be putting too much into your pouch - see if this helps and also I'm sure we'll have other help and guidence! Kittycat
It's gas m'dear..trapped under your ribs.....I get it all the time including wicked middle back pain after eating. Mine goes away after 15-20 minutes or so. Walking should help move it out....feel better!
CottonwoodAZ
Its probably Gas but I had the same pain with my Gallstones so just watch if its everytime you eat any fat and see if you still have the pain? For me if I burped and took a hot shower it got better. It really is probably gas but just wanted you to be aware that the gallbladder is under the right rib. Kittycat
CottonwoodAZ has a point, but if you were having a gallbladder attack, you would be doubled over in EXTREME pain and barely able to breathe...gallbladder attacks are worst than labour!! The pain is most in your chest and under your diaphram...wicked pain!! Keep an eye on it...and if gets worse talk to your doctor.
