If you eat too much soup can it stretch your stomach? Or is it solid foods only?

Does the creamy soup go through like water?

I just finished the creamy soup phase and i would feel full after a bout half a cup of soup. I think the soup and other liquids go through the band and the pouch fairly easy so you have to be careful not to consume too much. I'm not sure but i don't think you would stretch the pouch but too many unused calories adds up to gaining weight.

Today was the first time i ate more then about a cup of soup. I am stuffed! Then I started panicking that i shouldn't have done it. I also had a coffee for the first time today so many that added to my fullness. Not sure. I just hope i didn't screw up :(

Phew!!!! Thanks!

Liquids, including creamy soups go right through the band. The volume will not stretch your pouch as long as you don't chug a ton at once.

You should be totally fine as long as you didn't gulp down your soup, like Julie said. I really don't think you have to worry about stretching your pouch until you get to solids.

Good luck finishing out your phases....it's tough, but worth it!
