Problems getting financed??

Recommended Posts

I've never posted here before but I was wondering if anybody knew about any financing options besides what they offer. I lost my job about a year ago and missed lots of payments...my credit is now like very BAD. I've been looking into this for awhile but can't figure out a way to get finacned...I have no one to co-sign for me...Any ideas?? Anything would be great ^_^

Do you have a 401K you can borrrow from? If not, with horrible credit and no co-signer, I don't know what options if any, you would have.

The loan options offered through the OCC are simply finance companies and/or credit cards. One finance co. told me the minimum credit score was 600. Now if you have caught up on all your bills from before and are now current, your credit union may be willing to finance. They base it more on if you can afford it and what makes sense, then your credit score helps determine what your rate will be. I chose to go with my credit union. Even with a pretty good credit score the finance companies were still charging high interest and orginination fees.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Unfortunately it's a very bad time to try to get financed if you don't have good credit. The credit industry is not lending to risky borrowers right now.

My credit isn't the best but it's not the worst, and I couldn't get a loan. I had to borrow from family - they said they would rather loan cash than co-sign with someone.

Can you get a loan from anyone in your family? This is a life-saving surgery!
