To fill or not to fill

Recommended Posts

So I went and got my first fill last Friday and at first it was tight. I got 1.6 CC's. But now I feel like I am back to where I was. Maybe a little less. I am not sure, but does that mean I need another fill? I am worried about getting too tight but it sure seems like I can eat a lot. I need to sit down and figure out how much I am eating but I have been hungry. I am just not sure how to know for sure if that is what I need to do. They did say that if in two weeks I felt like I was night right to call them back, I just dont have the time to go back there. I think I need to call that dr kitspatrick. Anyone on here use her?

well Miss, I told you what happened to me, I was back in there 6 days later getting another fill and NOW I know restriction. If you have to get back in there, do it, just do not let her get you too tight...I think I would be better off having a bit taken out, but I know it will loosen as I drop weight...which the big weigh in is on Sunday...I am hoping to be under 200

I've had 2 fills and only stayed tight for maybe a week after both of them. I'm now at 2.6 cc and need another fill badly. I've never known 'real restriction', only short lived. I can eat pretty much anything, mornings are a little tighter, I can't eat bread in the AM. The only things that seem to get stuck for me are re-heated foods.... must be because of the dryness.

Good luck Stormy, I'm in the same boat as you. Darlene

Hi Stormy, generally the first fill does not provide restriction for very long, if at all. My second one was the one...for awhile...you will need adjustment all along the way.

I have had 3 fills so far and they usually last about a month and I go back for a tiny top up.

If you don't have restriction, book another one!!

Good Luck!
