SValentino
Today I looked at the little card that I got at OCC looking to see what size band I have, It said 10cc. That sounds big. Do you think I'll have a problem down the road when I start losing the fat around my stomach?
Kittycat
I have a 9cc band, which is the smaller of the two sizes when banded in Canada...I have had 3 fills, total 5.5 cc in my band and I have done very well...when you get a fill, ensure that you get a good one!! Good Luck!!

Each person is different, depending on the thickness of your stomach wall and how much fat is on the outside of your stomach wall, is what determines the band size from the doctor. You will get your fill accordingly, and it may take a few extras, but that's ok. When you go for your fill, make sure you get a good one. Take the time to do this. There is a good post on this under the "Fill" section - browse through it. Hope this helps you!
yoyodieter
Are you sure it dosen't say 10 cm, that is actually the smaller 4cc band. the larger one usually says VG, mine says 10cm which holds 4cc and my sons say's vg which holds 10cc. Hope that helps.

tlag
I agree with the rest, make sure it is a 10cc not a 10cm. I'm sure which ever band you have, it will be fine. The doctors would not have done a band if they felt it would cause problems.

jhawkchick75
So this thread made me think and I checked and mine does say 10cm, so I have a 4cc band! I kept telling everyone I had a 10cc band! Thanks!
