Surgery date of 10/25/06

Anyone scheduled for Oct.25th ? That's my date and I will be traveling alone. That's the only part I am nervous about. Would love to find someone else for that same date. I fly into San Diego on the evening of 10/24.

I am leaving very early in the morning of the 25th. Don't worry about meeting people though. You will meet the people you are banded with and have their support. I talked to them a lot, and had dinner with them several times.

My surgery is also scheduled for the 25th. I am flying in the morning of the 24th. I guess I'll see you there!

I was banded August 28th. It will be 8 weeks between surgery and my first fill. I have done very well. And I am pretty happy with 26 pounds lost, and kept off before my first fill. I have some restriction now, but not nearly enough. If you want to read about my experience, it is under newly banded, banded Aug. 28th.
