Okay... I was just wondering. Do you have to protect the area of your port? You know... always be cautious of it? What happens if you bump into something. I guess I'm wondering if the band restricts people from doing certain things. Not that it would be a "deal breaker" in regards to my surgery next week. Heaven knows that my weight has restricted me from doing countless things throughout my life.

Thanks, Kristy

Only for the first 90 days that I know of. (No abs exercise and light on the use) Otherwise there’s not much I haven’t done from zip gliding to high cliff diving, Belly Dancing and rock climbing. I’ve done more in the last 2 years than I can tell you. It didn’t slow me down a bit!

That's great to know! I can't wait to experience those things. Normally... I sit on the "sidelines" and watch.

As I've lost more weight I notice the port more. If I lean over my daughter's crib it hits right at the port and it does hurt. Most of the time though I don't notice it. I might have the OCC reposition it once I am done losing if I keep feeling it like I do. I am really sensitive though, and even when pregnant it wasn't bad.
