Christy26
Hey everyone! I have a question about exercising....despite being overweight, I actually exercise alot and its not just cardio, I do alot of cardio, and alot of weight lifting - i have a personal trainer who is very intense with me... so I am wondering - I know i will have to wait a while after surgery but once fully healed - will there be any restrictions or will I basically go back to all of my normal activities? I want to be sure to continue weight lifting so that my skin tightens with my weight loss. Just curious if anyone had any problems or issues with the band from high intensity workouts? thanks!! C1BandedBabe
Christy I work everyday too maybe not as strenuous as you say you do, but I don't see how it would be a problem at all to go back to your work out after being banded... Of course you have to wait 3 months before you can start working on your abs but everything else is a go after surgery... When you do start working out after surgery your port area may be a little sore but other then that you should be ready to go honey....
CindyLou
Dr Mirand drew a line threw the part where it said I couldn't do crunches and said it was up to me when ever I felt like it. Now I can tell you that two weeks out, I don't feel like it at all. We tell our Csection patients at the hospital 6 weeks...I'll probably go by that.
