C1BandedBabe
I am just wondering if those of you that is at their sweet spot that has about 3 or more cc's in their band if they are still able to eat a whole lean cuisine still.... I am still able to eat a whole lean cuisine but its like I have to stop myself to not eat the whole thing.. My fill doctor told me that I should not be eating over 8 oz. but most lean cuisine are over 8 oz and really are alot of rice or things that go through the pouch fairly easy ya know.. I just don't want to stretch my pouch and just wanted to see how you other bandsters are dealing with this...

Hi Trina, Every person's body is different like Kim says, and it doesn't matter how much of a fill you have as long of you stay focus with the food guideline (3 oz of meat/ 1/4 cup of veggie/fruit, 1/4 cup of grain/carbs, per meal and not over 1200 calories per day). Eat in that order as well - proteins ALWAYS first. I DO NOT buy 'ready-made' food because it is not true measured - for our band. If you still want to eat the lean cusisine, measure each food group accordingly and go from there. Best to you...
C1BandedBabe
Thank you ladies for responding, I mean I dont get the real big Lean Cuisine dinners, like my lunch today was the Salisbury steak with the mac and cheese.. some days i just feel like a bottomless pit and it makes me think I have stretched my pouch... I have never had a fill done under fluro to see if everything is alright... I just want to be able to eat a couple of bites of something and then be done... I do eat slow though.. it takes me about 20-25 minutes to eat for the most part.... Pre-packages meals are just soo easy for me right now since my husband is not home its just me but when he comes back home I will probably just do lean cuisines for lunch and cook dinner but for right now they are so convenient... tlag
I was at my sweet spot, then I ate some spicy food and vomited several times. Had my stomach so inflammed that I had to go for an unfill. found out at that time that I actually had 4 cc in my 4cc band. He took out .25cc and now I don't have much restriction at all except for in the mornings. I was at the sweet spot before all of this. I could eat about 4-5 bites and be done and full. I am going back next week to have the .25 put back in, so I can be back at the sweet spot. However, I agree with the rest, everybody's sweet spot is different. My friends are at 2.0- 2.75 and are good at that level, so you really cannot base it on the amount in the band. You will know when u are at your sweet spot. good luck
yoyodieter
Hi Trina, thanks for the pm.. I am so glad you are doing ok and hubby is coming back in January. You look HOT!! My son is now in Iraq. and won't even be home for the birth of his son. My grandson!! OMG still have a hard time saying the G word. LOL My other son and I went for a fill today and Justin asked them about being able to eat a whole lean cuisine, They said no problem, that is fine, you would need to eat that much to get your nutrients in, and to keep you satisfied for at least 4 hrs. As you know I eat a whole lean cusine, and I lost weight. My problem is the wine Please keep in touch, I still plan on coming to visit on my way to see my new grandson in March.. Again you are doing great. keep up the good work.. and strip your way to thin.LOL
GirlBarb
Hi Trina, Can I ask you a question? What does it feel like when you know you are full? Another ? Do you ever slime? I stopped losing in Aug. Going for a fill today at 3 pm I have about 1.5-1.7 in my band. All I think about is eating. when I was losing weight and inches, it kept me motivated, but I am going back to wanting to lean on food for everything. Barb Butting in here....for me, now that I have GLORIOUS restriction, it feels like a great heaviness in my chest area. Almost like I ate a gold ball. This feeling comes after a few bites.
