bbuck
Hi all, I had my lap band (VG) done on October 3rd, 06. Immediately after the surgery I could see my port bulging out my belly. I was immediately concerned, because I don't want this bulge. Dr. Martinez said it would go down with a little time. However, I can feel it easily and it doesn't feel like it's buried very deep at all. I am wondering if anyone else out there has this, or had it. I certainly don't want to live with this extra bulge. The bulge is visible with my clothes on. Thanks. Talk with me folks. bbuck

(I SHOULD SAY THAT THE 4 FILLS THAT I'VE NOW WATCHED AT THE OCC, ALL 4 PORTS WERE IN THE SAME PLACE)
Clynn
I've actually got the opposite situation where my port site is sucked in sometimes. Looks like I have a small dent in my stomach. Figure once the incision finishes healing it will return to normal.
Nicole
I was banded on Oct. 16th and I can also feel lumps by the port incision. One is to the left and doesn't feel like it is my insides or anything. The other one I noticed today and it is directly under the incision. A small rounded lump. It doesn't hurt, but worries me that it shouldn't be there. Is this normal as well?
dakota
Hi, I had my surgery on Sept 18th and my port is sticking out like a gold ball. It looks like a tumor. I can feel every inch of it. It also shows through my clothes. My swelling should have gone down by now so I am also concerned. Kay
