First Fill

Hey everyone,

How many weeks did you wait between surgery and your first fill? Ive been reading this board and another board and I've seen people waiting 3 weeks to 8 weeks before their first fill.

Is this an individual decision or made by the Dr?

The OCC said 6 weeks but since I was on vacation it took me 8 weeks for my first fill. Hope this helps you.

at OCC, your first fill is between 6 to 8 weeks post op. I did mine at 6 1/2 weeks and glad I did.

Mine was just a few days after 6 weeks and I agree i'm glad I got in and got started ASAP. Although I don't have a lot of restriction, it keeps me motivated and helps me know i'm on the path there! I also scheduled my next fill that day as well so I could keep them as close to a month apart as possible.

I had mine at 6 weeks exactly. I had ZERO restriction after having great restriction for 3 weeks.

You 'might' be able to go longer...but from everything I have read over the past few months..noone goes longer than 7 weeks...IF they have to...
