MrsParris
Dr. M. weighed my hubby the day I went in for my surgery. As of yesterday he has already lost 20lbs. He has lost more than me and I was on 21 days of liquids. He told me he wished I would lose faster because he's getting tired of the people at work asking how much I have lost and he keeps saying, "Oh about 12lbs since she got the band." I am proud of him and happy for him, but it just sucks that women lose so slowly....... He has decided to get a band also. His surgery is scheduled for April 6th. CindyLou
My husband has lost wieight since I got the band too! And he's not even trying. I was always the one that was organizing and preparing meals and now that he's on his own, he isn't eating as much. He really doesn't need to lose any weight, so I'm going to have to be sure he eats. Isn't that crazy! I tried all my life and he loses by "osmosis"!
stormy
My hubby got banded the same day as me and has lost two times as much as me. It makes me upset because I want that. But I am proud of him. I just worry about when it is going to happen for me. I guess I am jelious. I hope this next fill will kick it in gear. jhawkchick75
Yeah, it stinks but guys do lose quicker than us. One of the times (the many times) I did WW there was one lone guy in our group and he seemed to hit a 5 lb mark every week and all the women would just glare at him. Felt kinda sorry for him! Just remember as long as you are doing all you are supposed to do and following all the rules then you will be fine. As long as it is coming off - regardless of how quickly - that is what matters. Keep it up!!!
