carla Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 Hi everybody!! I was banded Dec 5, and like 4 days after surgery I started having a sensation in my throat, like a lump is in there. It is no painful but it is very uncomfortable :lb12: It feels like a have something in there all the time!. I have no problem swallowing it just the feeling that something is stuck in there. It sounds gross, but I tried to feel it by sticking my finger in and nothing!! I don't know what to do!!! This sensation is making me crazy .Does any one havegone through the same?? What can I do for this to go away??????? :lb12: PLEASE HELP!!!!! THANKS

It sounds weird but I get it if it is time for me to eat or if I am thirsty. I have found if I drink something it goes away. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

I also used to get it and when I drank some calories, it would go away for a time. It was strange and unpleasant, but if it's what I had, then it will go away.
