How long between first fill and second fill?

How long did it take you between the first and second fills?

I'm hearing that some people didn't have any restriction until after the second fill. Can you get the second fill right after, like six weeks later?

everyone is different

I had NO restriction from week 4 until I got my first fill at exactly 6 weeks. then my second fill 5 days after the first.

(typically the first fill is to PRIME the band)

my second fill lasted about 3 weeks

then I got my third fill.

I am now losing 2-3 lbs per week.

you will know what you need to do...but also realize that in order to lose the weight, you must listen to your body and if you are feeling hungry or not. I am at the point where I never feel hungry and have to REMIND myself or force myself to at least eat some protein. I do not eat my veggies like I should, so I have begun doing V8 quite a bit.

Yes, like Cara says, you need to listen to your body and if you are using more willpower than bandpower, time to schedule a fill.

My first fill lasted about a week and a half. I got my 2nd fill on Dec 20 and it's a good one so far but not my "sweet spot". Like Cara says, your first fill is to prime you, for your band and yourself to get use to the idea that, "oh, my band is a little tighter, so choose my food wisely, cut into smaller pieces, chew the dickens out of it and eat slowly!". Also, it's important to go on liquids after your fill to jump start another journey of losing weight.

For me, I've noticed the difference between my first and currently my second fill ~ is that I now get fuller quicker. So, of course, I am focusing in getting my proteins in FIRST...then go for my veggie/fruit, which I was truly able to have about 2 teaspoons worth of veggie and 2 teaspoons worth of fruit and that was it for me. I love the idea of 'drinking' my veggie down with V8 juice ~ thanks Cara for this tip!!
