Guest mansaw
Just curious...how far are you post-op, how often do you weigh yourself? I can tell I am going to have to watch that I dont do it too often - I definately cant do away with the scale though!
tnm75
Too often! The scale is evil... yet one sits in my bathroom and one sits in my kitchen. You'd think I'd learn! I weigh myself each morning... at the same time --- after my shower. Your weight can fluctuate so much during the day that it can become mad'ning if you step on it too often. Guest mansaw
I get sooooooooo bloated at night. I am bad with the scale - I weight myself in the morning then at night and Im always about 3 lbs heavier at night with my big puffy belly
nothereanymore
It really depends on how its affecting you - there are so many differing opinions on this one. If your weight fluctuates a lot and it affects you in a negative manner – try and hold off and find the time when your weight is most stable – (in the am or at night – we’re all different) and only weigh yourself then. If you like it – keep doing it – find what works best for you and then create a good habit and stay focused. We're all different - what works well for one person may not work for all. Find your fit and go for it - we're here to succeed in the best way for us!
125ne1
Banded May 26,2008.I weigh 2x every day.At morning & night.I want to remind myself of the goal. My goal.To lose 100 lbs. 76 down so far. I was just banded on December 22nd, so I'm new to all of this, but I wanted to congratulate you on your weight loss!!! Since May, WOW! I want to weigh every day, but sometimes I do get disappointed and down when the scale goes up instead of down when I've done everything right. I'm still up in the air about what I will do. I want to retrain my mind. If I weigh everyday, it's just for a record--I will look at the overall effect. Again, CONGRATS!
