it's a teenage boy who is removing the band after 3.5 years. Only wish it had a before and after pic. I think all the OCC videos are done very well. Not sure where I stand on teenagers having lapband, honestly. But I think I'd be ok with my daughter or son having one if they were pretty big and trying but failing at diets. :-)

I just watched it - a really nice kid and I'm happy he's had so much success. Down from 250 to 130 - nearly half his size!!!

But I don't know why he would have it removed. Couldn't he just get an unfill? It seems drastic, unless he was having complications.

It sounds like he is getting it out because he wants to play sports. I would assume that from that he said. I could not imagine playing heavy sports and getting kicked there a few times, that would not be good. It is a good video.
