Hello,

I just had my band surgery a week ago and I have noticed the whites of my eyes have turned a very distinct color of yellow. Is this normal? How do I get them to be white again?

Thanks

Hi, I am not qualified to give medical. You should call/see your doctor about this. One of my boys developed yellowish whites of his eyes at birth and the doctor said it would clear up but if your skin starts turning yellowish, that could be jaundice which if left untreated can cause liver damage.

You should at least call OCC and ask them about it. Good luck. Hope everything turns out fine.

All my medical training comes from watching Dr House but here is my 2 cents:

Are you drinking enough water? If you are not peeing enough you can turn yellow as the toxins build up. 8 to 10 glasses a day.
