stormy
Ok the slime happened. The bun got stuck and hamburgers are NO MORE!!! I have restriction and I thought I could get away with it, since it was just a small burger and I was going to chew real good. But it was NOT HAPPENING! Eventually I took the burger off and ate it alone with no bun and had no issue eating it. I guess you can't blame me for trying. I am going to miss having a hamburger once in a while. It was weird when I felt it in my chest. I am kinda glad it happened, I need to learn a lesson. And I learned big time.

I too learned the hard way, I cut the burger in quarters, then I took the tinest bite, chewed slowly and within a few moments I knew that was it for burgers. Sometimes I crave one, but then I remember how it feels and I quickly change my mind.

I haven't slimed yet. YUCK! Feel better!
bigali
Quickly we learn what we can't have any more. I use to miss the hamburger a lot since it was my favorite thing to eat ( maybe that's why i was so fat....lol) Now I really miss having a subway sub. I don't even dare take a bit too much bread... But good luck to you in your weight loss.
ckiki
Now I really miss having a subway sub That's what I am going to miss the most. I was obsessed with Subway, I had it every day for lunch prior to being banded.
ValleyGirl
Yep, I tried a bit of my daughter's cheeseburger and that's going to be a no-no for me too. I've never slimed, but I can feel major pain as it tries to make it's way down. I had to walk around the restaurant with my hands above my head, how embarassing. I'm having a hard time breaking the habit of finishing my kids food so it doesn't get "wasted". It kills me to throw away perfectly good food and it's not usually enough to take home- just a few bites from her plate and a few bites from his plate....in Weight Watchers they called it "BLT"s (bites, licks, tastes) and we had to track all of them in one week and boy do they add up! I think I'll just pour salt over everything so I'm not tempted. Isn't that insane? It's THAT hard to stop myself.
