plj
All, I had some rather hard lime jello last night at about 9. I've had burning and a feeling that something is kindof stuck in the back of my throat since. My doc is a good 8 hr drive away, which makes it hard to see him. I'll call today. Walking or being upright help, and sips of cold water feel good. Is there something about a 2 week period after surgery? Maybe things are starting to be normal size now? Feeling coming back? It is uncomfortable and burns, but I'm not sure if I can take a pill (I can crush it) or what kind to take. Maalox maybe? I did nothing special, 5pm I pureed a can of organic vegetable soup, tomato based, which I have had in the last 2 weeks. It was hours after when things started to hurt anyway. Thanks. Kathleen
Dr. Miranda told me that a lot of people were having problems with jello, and that she has taken it off of the post-op liquid diet. That doesn't help with your problem, but might prevent others from winding up where you are.
plj
Yeah, esp lime jello that sat up for a couple ofdays! The next day, the bowl that I made it in still had jello adhered to the sides, and I had to scrub it off! That can't be good for your insides when they're delicate. It took about a day and a half to get over it.
