canuck Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Hi everyone. I am just starting my research and wondered if anyone has has had the band surgery paid for by insurance? My insurer in Canada is Sun Life, and I havent asked them yet if they will cover this--Is anyone aware of firms that will cover this if I can show a serious medical condition? or is this hopeless?
ValleyGirl Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I'm not sure what province you are in but I don't know anybody in BC that has had it covered by insurance. We can't even file an out of town medical expense form to get some money back from the government, but you can in Alberta. Good luck!
