I am just little worried .. and b'cuz of that I have gained like 2-3 pounds dont know what to do now..... I am not suppose to be on any pre-op diet but NOW I am getting to worried abt it.... did this happen to anyone yet !!! Naz, if you're really that concerned, talk to Dr. Miranda again, and maybe she can suggest some modifications to what you're currently eating. from the sounds of it, you should be fine. watch your portion sizes and make sure you're eating enough protein and getting some exercise in. After I hung up I stepped on the scales and to my horror I actually weighed 12 pounds more than I thought. I was so scared, so I just did 2 lean cuisines a day and a shake for breakfast, I lost the 12 pounds in 2 weeks. It won't hurt anything to try and lose a couple before surgery, they just don't want you to gain. I think I am just worried and in stress about the surgery.. in that case I am gaiing all this weight.. but thank god I chked today I have lost 3 pound....
