gaining weight

Hi all,

I am going to be banded on the Feb 16th..

I am just little worried .. and b'cuz of that I have gained like 2-3 pounds

dont know what to do now..... I am not suppose to be on any pre-op diet

but NOW I am getting to worried abt it.... did this happen to anyone yet !!!

I spoke to the nutritionist she told me to stay at ur weight dont gain any more....

plsssss help !!!!!

Naz, if you're really that concerned, talk to Dr. Miranda again, and maybe she can suggest some modifications to what you're currently eating. from the sounds of it, you should be fine. watch your portion sizes and make sure you're eating enough protein and getting some exercise in.

Yeah its a good Idea...

I was going to gym 5 times a day .. but i stopped and now only going to gym

2-3 times

Maybe I should watch my portion and go back to gym 5 times

You must have a lower BMI, I did too, and when they asked me my weight I quessed, and was told not to gain any. After I hung up I stepped on the scales and to my horror :o I actually weighed 12 pounds more than I thought. I was so scared, so I just did 2 lean cuisines a day and a shake for breakfast, I lost the 12 pounds in 2 weeks.

It won't hurt anything to try and lose a couple before surgery, they just don't want you to gain.

They do offer diet options, just give your coordinator a call, and she can hook you up with Dr. Miranda.

yeah ur rght.. my BMI is low

but like dr miranda said.. try to ;loose 5 pound if you can.. but dont gain ny..

I think I am just worried and in stress about the surgery..

in that case I am gaiing all this weight..

but thank god I chked today I have lost 3 pound....
